Mining in the creek and banks (outside the mine):

1. shovel

2. 1/2" sifting screen

3. waders or rubber boots

4. hand rake

Mining inside the mine:

1. heavy boots with good tread.

2. headlamp/light source.

3. handheld sledgehammer, 3-6 pounds.

4. assortment of cold chisels.
